The Lifeshapes Alpha conference went really well this week so thats brilliant as it was our first -allthe team did fantastic jobs .
Mike is away in N carolina and Ohio -so more airmiles !!!
Sam is going to a sweet 16 birthday party tonite ,the theme is black and white and semi formal but it required a serious shopping spree with mum to get formal dress trousers !! tie ,shirt, and proper shoes not to mention shirt and belt!!!!We did it all in 30 mins not bad!!!!Thats guy shopping for you!!!

Walking Charlie

Walked charlie this morning and saw an enormous Teranchila about the size of my hand neither charlie or the spider seemed bothered so we carried on !!!a bit different from squirrels in ecclesall woods !!

Mike and the team are busy with the Alpha/lifeshapes conference this week its going really well great to see people from all over responding
Put Beccy on a plane to return to Uk she will be back in 4 weeks so no tears this time.
libby is picking up cleaning jobs all over and staying out of trouble whilst getting a tan of course .

Sam and his girlfriend got nominated at school this week to win an award for cutest couple!!! They didn't win and got beaten by the homecoming Queen and King !!! They announced it in assembly!!! a bit different from Tapton or Firth Park !!!! Sometimes when I drop him off or pick him up it feels like a movie set off a teen movie !!!
Lacrosse season is finished hurrah!!!!All of the Robinsons watched him in his final game unfortunately they lost !
Swim season begins!!!
Only 23 days of school left for Sam

Swimming

Started swimming every morning ,great exercise , beautiful mountains in the background, clear blue skies, pool to ourselves unless it was yesterday when we had a freezing wind howling through and we got accidently caught up with seniors aerobic class !!!!

Cactus in Bloom

I went into the garden and found this happening to our cactus , we planted it last year so it is its first flowers . cacus are amazing when they flower it is always dramatic . This one if you cut a shape out of its leaves itreproduces more with the same shape cut out !!! its called bunny ears !! a bit like cloning to the uneducated !!! Yes we did think of making it a Lifeshapes cactus with triangles and circles cut out but it is VERY prickly !!!!!

Beccy and I looked after Tia this morning she is so adorable and funny and becoming so grown up too ,she loves to make exciting sounds with her voice and Jo thinks she sounds like a dinosaur !!!! She is also nearly walking !!

Continuing to go to the trainer she worked on my Pecs this week ___ i didnt even know I had any !!!!! enjoying the girls being here , So is Charlie he gets more walks though soon it will be too hot to take him in the day,
We (me . Beccy and Libby) are starting early morning swimming tomorrow !!!

Bex and Libby have arrived along with loads of luggage but its allowed as they brought Thornton Easter Eggs so all is forgiven !!!They have spent the morning in the hot tub getting a tan !!

These are my gorgeous girls who arrive on Monday , one with a broken toe and one who wants to leap out of a plane !!! with a parachute!!

Every so often you suddenly realise again you are an alien ina foreign land ,this happened on Friday when sam was telling me there had been an incident! at school which involved 25 police cars , several shot guns, hand guns and taisers !!!Teenage disagreements take on a whole new meaning when you can get hold of a gun !!!

Well we have had another round of UK visitors , staying with various people already relocated in Phoenix. This is great andit makes the world seem like a very small place when you have aBBQ and Mags and Phil Kelly are there with Skye ,Joy,Clint, Matt,Issac,and Caleb are there too and so are Jane Hawkins and Andy Swann not to mention Paddy and Mary , Nigel and Sue, Gareth and Lizzie, Jo and Chris !!! and all the kids !!!

The girls ( on seperate planes and different times!!(dont ask!!) arrive here on Monday they cant wait for the sunshine and sitting by the pool. Libby is with us for 6months having managed to persuade her faculty that she could complete her last terms work with this terms , pretty ingenious if you ask me ,

Beccy returns after 2 weeks to finish her dissertation and then leaves Sheffield FOREVER!!!!!

Sam is very excited as he likes the house to be livelier than just us two old people !!!

Mike is off to Nashville (home of country music ) to do a weekend for a church there .I feel I should really be going with my music taste!!!

Spring in arizona

i was speaking at a womens retreat in Prescott, north of Phoenix this weekend . it went great taught the semi-circle and the Lord's prayer, but the bonus was seeing blossom !!!
